 Viens écouter la voix de Dieu, cantique 12.

Avec allégresse

1.Viens écouter la voix de Dieu:
Le prophète a parlé!
Sois guidé par la vérité
Eclate en chants joyeux!
Pour nous instruire étaient venus
Les prophètes jadis;
Par les prophètes d’aujourd’hui
Nous revient le salut.

2.Ce monde vivait recouvert
D’une oppressante nuit.
Maintenant le ciel s’est ouvert,
Le doute déjà fuit.
Les hommes, de l’erreur tirés,
Ne craindront plus demain,
Puisque les saints ont retrouvé
Le bon, l’étroit chemin.

3.A qui rejette Jésus-Christ,
Oh! ne te livre pas.
Sois assuré qu’il est maudit
Par sa vie ici-bas.
Jésus rappelle maintenant:
«Obéissez toujours.
Les signes les plus éclatants
Suivront de jour en jour.»

4.Puisant les mots de vérité
Aux sources inspirées,
Sois fidèle à la loi donnée
Pour être élu, comblé.
Tu entendras la sainte voix
Déclarer ton salut
Et les cieux éclater de joie
Pour toi, le bienvenu.

Dios manda a profetas, hymnos 11.

Con convicción

1.Dios manda a los profetas,
que predican la verdad;
debemos escucharles
y Su nombre alabar.
Nos dieron leyes del Señor
en la antigüedad,
y un profeta hoy
ha restaurado la verdad.

2.Obscuridad tan densa,
que por siglos dominó,
por Cristo disipada es,
y Dios Su faz mostró.
Por asechanzas del error,
el mundo se cegó,
mas hoy al hombre
el Señor la senda aclaró.

3.Los santos depositan
su confianza en la luz
y saben qué sucederá
si niegan a Jesús.
A todos el Señor mandó:
“Mi palabra guardaréis;
señales por la fe habrá,
que todos gozaréis”.

4.Palabras de verdad
y luz entonces escuchad.
Para lograr la exaltación,
Su santa ley guardad;
Su eterno reino celestial
habréis de heredar,
y siempre la felicidad
podréis allí gozar.

Joyfully

And in the way of truth rejoice,
And sing for joy aloud.
We’ve found the way the prophets went
Who lived in days of yore.
Another prophet now is sent
This knowledge to restore.

2.The gloom of sullen darkness spread
Thru earth’s extended space
Is banished by our living Head,
And God has shown his face.
Thru erring schemes in days now past
The world has gone astray;
Yet Saints of God have found at last
The straight and narrow way.

3.’Tis not in man they put their trust
Nor on his arm rely.
Full well assured, all are accursed
Who Jesus Christ deny.
The Savior to his people saith,
“Let all my words obey,
And signs shall follow living faith,
Down to the latest day.”

4.Then heed the words of truth and light
That flow from fountains pure.
Yea, keep His law with all thy might
Till thine election’s sure,
Till thou shalt hear the holy voice
Assure eternal reign,
While joy and cheer attend thy choice,
As one who shall obtain.
