Les soucis du monde ne doivent pas me détourner de l’obéissance à la parole de Dieu.

D&A 40 :1-2

1 Voici, en vérité, je vous dis que le cœur de mon serviteur James Covel était droit devant moi, car il avait fait alliance avec moi d’obéir à ma parole.

2 Et il reçut la parole avec joie, mais Satan le tenta immédiatement, et la crainte des persécutions et les soucis du monde lui firent rejeter la parole.

BIBLE Marc 4 : 16-17

16 Les autres, pareillement, reçoivent la semence dans les endroits pierreux ; quand ils entendent la parole, ils la reçoivent d’abord avec joie ;

The cares of the world must not distract me from obeying God’s word.

D&C 40: 1-2

1 Behold, verily I say unto you, that the heart of my servant James Covel was right before me, for he covenanted with me that he would obey my word.

2 And he received the word with gladness, but straightway Satan tempted him; and the fear of persecution and the cares of the world caused him to reject the word.
