17 À peine était-elle apparue que je me sentis délivré de l’ennemi qui m’enserrait. Quand la lumière se posa sur moi, je vis deux Personnages dont l’éclat et la gloire défient toute description, et qui se tenaient au-dessus de moi dans les airs. L’un d’eux me parla, m’appelant par mon nom, et dit, en me montrant l’autre : Celui-ci est mon Fils bien-aimé. Écoute-le !

3 Comme il était en chemin, et qu’il approchait de Damas, tout à coup une lumière venant du ciel resplendit autour de lui. 4 Il tomba par terre, et il entendit une voix qui lui disait : Saul, Saul, pourquoi me persécutes-tu ? 5 Il répondit : Qui es-tu, Seigneur ? Et le Seigneur dit : Je suis Jésus que tu persécutes. Il te serait dur de regimber contre les aiguillons.

17 It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which held me bound. When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!
