Alma 26 ; Alma 29

LDM : Alma 26 : 15-16

Oui, ils étaient enveloppés par les ténèbres et la destruction éternelles ; mais voici, il

les a amenés à sa lumière éternelle, oui, au salut éternel ; et ils sont enveloppés par

la générosité sans pareille de son amour ; oui, et nous avons été des instruments

entre ses mains pour accomplir cette œuvre grande et merveilleuse.

C’est pourquoi, glorifions-nous, oui, nous nous glorifierons dans le Seigneur ; oui,

nous nous réjouirons, car notre joie est pleine ; oui, nous louerons notre Dieu à

jamais. Voici, qui peut trop se glorifier dans le Seigneur ? Oui, qui peut en dire trop

sur sa grande puissance, et sur sa miséricorde, et sur sa longanimité à l’égard des

enfants des hommes ? Voici, je vous le dis, je ne peux pas dire la plus petite partie

de ce que je ressens.

Mais l’ange leur dit : Ne craignez point ; car je vous annonce une bonne nouvelle, qui

sera pour tout le peuple le sujet d’une grande joie

Yea, they were encircled about with everlasting darkness and destruction; but

behold, he has brought them into his everlasting light, yea, into everlasting

salvation; and they are encircled about with the matchless bounty of his love;

yea, and we have been instruments in his hands of doing this great and

marvelous work.

Therefore, let us glory, yea, we will glory in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for

our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too

much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of his great power, and of his

mercy, and of his long-suffering towards the children of men? Behold, I say

unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel.
